School ends this week and if your kids are anything like mine summer fever is already in full force. Summer for folks like me means campaign season so I wanted to let you know a couple of things we’re working on. First of all, we have “Vote For Buzz” bumper stickers. If you’d like one, at no charge whatsoever, click here and give me your mailing address and I’ll get one in the mail to you. The bumper stickers are available on a first come, first serve basis, and priority will be given to folks in district 102.
I’m working on an event with the Gwinnett Braves and hope to be able to announce something soon that will be a low cost family-friendly event. Please stay tuned.
As you know, political campaigns need money. Consequently Rep. Valerie Clark and I will be having a Meet & Greet/Fundraiser on June 1st in Lawrenceville. I’ll forward the details soon.
Next Tuesday I’m joining several of my colleagues for a fundraiser in Atlanta at Fado Irish Pub & Restaurant. As always, I’d be honored to have your support with a donation of any size. You can donate to my campaign online or via mail. Details can be found at the bottom of this page.
As my first term in the Legislature comes to an end I want to express my gratitude to you and the other 53,000 residents of district 101 for trusting me to represent your interests at the Capitol. It has been a tremendous honor. I am running for reelection (announcement here). Due to last year’s reapportionment the district lines will change and the district number changes to 102.
