I had the honor or saying a few words and offering a prayer at a Veterans Day remembrance this past Friday in Lawrenceville. Being able to offer a small token of our gratitude to the Veterans in attendance was important and I was glad to do it.

Later I came across this quote that I found profound:

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” -John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Let us not merely express our gratitude to our Veterans once a year let us strive to live by those words year round.
