To accompany the TV ad, Brockway released a list of 15 “Standards” he seeks to uphold as a Legislator. These standards apply to how he treats his constituents, colleagues, lobbyists, and members of the press. Brockway said “Trust in elected officials is at an all time low. I can’t change how government is perceived on my own, but I can raise the standard of how I behave, and urge constituents to join with me and expect better. Working together we can begin to turn people’s frustration into action and restore trust in government.”
